Jon Bon Jovi Pushes To Do Shows But In “A Controlled Manner”

Jon Bon Jovi is preparing to return to the stage, but he’s still taking a more careful approach.
In a recent interview with Today, the Bon Jovi frontman expressed his desire to tour again, saying:
“Yeah, in a controlled manner regardless of how great I can sing or not.”
However, fans shouldn’t expect a massive tour. Jon made it clear that the days of extensive touring are behind him. He explained:
“I don’t think there’s ever gonna be a 240-show tour ever again, but when I look to the Stones, U2, Bruce [Springsteen], I can do that.”
Jon Bon Jovi Confident in His Vocal Abilities
Jon is optimistic about his ability to perform again, even after undergoing significant vocal cord surgery in 2022. The surgery was necessary because one of his vocal cords had shrunk to the size of a thumb, while the other had become as thin as a pinky finger. This imbalance made singing challenging, but Jon is steadily making his way back to live performances.
In an interview with People, Jon discussed his recovery process, stating, “We performed last night in Nashville, and everything was very good. So step by step, I’m getting back to it.” This gradual return to the stage is part of his cautious approach to performing again.
Jon Bon Jovi Anticipates Touring Next Year
Earlier this year, Jon highlighted that his health would be the key factor in determining whether he could tour again. Despite the uncertainties, he remains hopeful about hitting the road next year. He said:
“I don’t know about a tour. It is my desire to do a tour next year, but I’m just still recovering from a major surgery.”
While Jon’s return to touring may not be as extensive as in the past, his passion for performing remains undiminished. Fans can look forward to seeing him back on stage, delivering the energy and charisma that have defined his career for decades.
