Easily one of our favorite Jimi Hendrix songs, and the title track from his album Axis: Bold As Love , “Bold As Love” takes you on a journey of colors meant to represent an axis of emotions. We know that Jimi was an incredibly emotional, intense person – no wonder he found it easier to express emotions through color than through words!

Did you know…

Jimi Hendrix only performed “Bold As Love” live once? A few lucky concert-goers had the chance to see this song performed live in 1968 at the Scene Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

We wish Jimi had performed “Bold As Love” live at least one more time before his passing – as amazing as it is on his albums, it must have been legendary live!
