Jamie Harrison Covers Jimi Hendrix’s “Bold As Love”

“Bold As Love” is the track that closes the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s second studio album entitled “Axis: Bold as Love.” This psychedelic rock song was recorded on October 29, 1967 and released on December 1 of the same year.

It was written by Jimi Hendrix himself and they recorded a few instrumental tracks to back it up. They had more than 20 takes and even about four endings during their jamming session. This was also considered as among the best tracks in the said album which garnered five stars from several music reviews.

Other artists also created their own covers including John Mayer, The Pretenders, Phish, Joan Osborne and Robben Ford.
