Roger Waters’ Harsh Words

Jack Osbourne is standing up for his late father after Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters made sharp remarks about Ozzy Osbourne’s music. The comments came during a recent interview where Waters dismissed both Ozzy’s solo work and his Black Sabbath era.

Ozzy, known to millions as the Prince of Darkness, passed away in July at the age of 76, just weeks after a celebrated return to the stage in Birmingham. While fans and fellow musicians shared tributes, Waters chose to offer a blunt opinion. “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life,” he said. “We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f***.”

Dismissing Black Sabbath

Waters continued, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.” His words drew immediate backlash, with many questioning the timing and tone.

For Ozzy’s family, the comments cut deep. Jack Osbourne, the youngest of Ozzy’s six children, quickly responded to defend his father’s legacy.

Jack Osbourne’s Response

Taking to Instagram Stories, Jack directly addressed Waters: “Hey @rogerwaters. F*** You. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bulls*** in the press.”

Jack added, “My father always thought you were a c*nt – thanks for proving him right. [clown emoji].” He later followed up with another post including the hashtag: “#f*rogerwaters.

Kelly Osbourne’s Tribute

Jack’s words came not long after his sister Kelly Osbourne shared her own reflections on their father’s passing. On Instagram, she wrote, “I’ve sat down to write this a hundred times and still don’t know if the words will ever feel like enough… but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life.”

Cause of Death Revealed

According to his death certificate, Ozzy passed away from multiple health complications, including an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction. His profession was officially recorded as “rock legend, songwriter and performer.”

Medical experts note that an acute myocardial infarction, often called a heart attack, happens when blood flow to the heart is blocked, usually by a clot. Symptoms may include chest pressure or tightness, pain spreading to the arm, jaw, or back, dizziness, shortness of breath, heavy sweating, and nausea.
