Wish Clint Was Here

Not only is Clint an amazing guitar player in this absolutely breathtaking acoustic rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here,” but even his vocals are bone chilling with perfect pitch and natural ease.

Interesting Fact: This was a rare case of the Pink Floyd primary songwriters Roger Waters and David Gilmour mutually collaborating on a song – they rarely wrote together

Reflecting the empty and lonely feelings people can eek through life experiencing, “Wish You Here” is an ode to the lonesomeness we all feel at one point or another. Ironically though, Clint’s insanely beautiful take on the ballad somehow comforts with us warm, solid vocals, a professional track and great guitar work.

Although David Gilmour is really the only one we want to hear sing this song, Clint does an amazing job with impressive talent, technique and professionalism. Enjoy this and share his talent!

+ Wish You Were Here Lyrics +

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue sky’s from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade
Your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We’re just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
And how we found
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.
