They may have had their share of differences, but at the end of the day Eric Clapton and George Harrison were great friends and even better musicians – especially when they worked together! This was taken from a performance featuring both Clapton and Harrison, performing The Beatles classic ‘Something’. The combination of Clapton and Harrison is absolutely a winner, and one that I wish we’d gotten more of – it was amazing!
There’s quite literally something about the way George performs ‘Something’ that’s incredibly special and kind of tugs at your heart a little!
What I love about the combination of George and Eric is the fact that with Eric taking the guitar leads, it left George open to sing and let us see the talented person behind that shy exterior, making us lament the fact that we didn’t get to see much of that during his time with The Beatles.
