Frampton Keeps Touring Despite Diagnosis
In 2019, Frampton was diagnosed with inclusion body myositis (IBM), a rare muscle disorder. He played what was meant to be a farewell tour soon after. But instead of retiring, he has returned again and again—most recently with the Never Say Never, Never EVER Say Never, and Positively Thankful tours.
His latest run, Let’s Do It Again!, is another sign that he’s not slowing down. Even with health challenges, he continues to connect with fans through live performances.
A Big Year for Frampton
Frampton was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October 2024. He was welcomed by Roger Daltrey of The Who. Keith Urban joined him on stage to play “Do You Feel Like We Do?” Frampton also performed “Baby (Somethin’s Happening)” during the ceremony.
In 2021, he released Peter Frampton Forgets the Words, an album made up of instrumental covers. It was his most recent full-length release.

The tour will begin October 17 at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. Other cities include San Antonio, Tulsa, Atlanta, and Memphis. The final stop will be November 2 at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida.
