A Special Stop in Connecticut
Foreigner is heading back to Connecticut, and this time they’re bringing someone fans haven’t seen with them in years — their original lead singer. On December 9, the band will perform at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford as part of their “Foreigner 4: The Deluxe Tour with Lou Gramm,” according to a listing for the event.
The tour is named after the band’s deluxe edition of their famous album 4, which is set to be released on September 12. Foreigner shared the announcement through their official Instagram page, exciting fans with a new round of shows featuring familiar songs and a familiar voice.

A Short but Big Tour
The eight-date winter tour kicks off December 3 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, and will wrap up December 13 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Lou Gramm shared the full tour details on his Facebook page. Fans can get tickets when the general sale begins Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
The 4 album includes some of Foreigner’s most loved tracks like “Juke Box Hero” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You.” The latter stayed at No. 1 on Billboard’s charts for 10 weeks. According to The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey, Foreigner will play two shows there during the tour.
Gramm’s Return to the Stage
Lou Gramm hasn’t been with the band in many years. He first left in 1990 to form his own band, Shadow King. He came back to Foreigner in 1992 but left again in 2003 to tour solo. In 2023, he headlined the Milford Oyster Festival, but now he’s rejoining Foreigner on stage.
Gramm told People magazine in April that he’s finally let go of old disagreements with the band. This decision led to their current reunion. He’s returning to play songs that made him and the band famous with the fans who remember.
