Ohio fans enjoyed classic hits from Styx, Foreigner, and John Waite as they continued their
Renegades & Juke Box Heroes tour last Tuesday night (June 12) at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls. The final leg of their summer tour is set to end on Aug. 28 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. These legendary artists started the tour with an electrifying performance at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan last Tuesday night.

Starting the evening, John Waite delivered powerhouse performances with a dynamic eight-song set. Fans got to reminisce with timeless hits during Waite’s time with the Babys. Waite also performed his classic 1984 solo hit “Missing You” and “When I See You Smile” the 1989 chart-topper with Bad English. Some of the tracks from Waite’s set list included “Midnight Rendezvous”, “Change”, and “Every Time I Think of You.”

Foreigner also thrilled the audience with a set packed with their greatest hits. The band started up their act with the title track from their 1978 album Double Vision. Some of the songs in their set list included “Waiting for a Girl Like You”, “Head Games”, and “Cold as Ice.” Foreigner closed their set with a powerful encore of “I Want to Know What Love Is” and “Hot Blooded.”

Styx capped off the night with a 13-song set performance. The tracks were mostly from their 1977 album The Grand Illusion and 1981’s Paradise Theatre. The band, featuring Lawrence Gowan on vocals and the ageless Tommy Shaw on guitar, delivered standout performances of “Come Sail Away,” “Lady,” “Renegade,” and “Blue Collar Man.” Fans also enjoyed their other performances which included “The Grand Illusion”, “Too Much Time on My Hands”, and “Miss America” among others. Notably, Shaw’s brother Terry, now the band’s new bass player, added to the evening’s familial charm.

The Renegades & Juke Box Heroes tour continues with its next show at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on June 12. This tour, featuring these iconic rock acts, will wrap up on August 28 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Fans across the country can look forward to experiencing the energy and classic hits from these legendary performers.
