A fresh recording of “How Could We Know” by Eric Clapton has been made available through Bushbranch/Surfdog Records, together with an animated music video.
The video debuted on MTV Live and MTV Classic, and a Times Square video billboard will play it hourly throughout the day. There is also a new double A-side record with the song “How Could We Know” by Judith Hill, Simon Climie, and Daniel Santiago.
The album was made available before the next Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, which will take place in Los Angeles in September. The seventh incarnation of the festival will take place over two nights on September 23 and 24 at the Crypto.com Arena.
Performances by well-known musicians, including Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Sheryl Crow, John Mayer Trio, Keb’ Mo’, Buddy Guy, H.E.R., Marcus King, Santana, Stephen Stills, Jimmie Vaughan, ZZ Top, and many others are on the schedule. Clapton himself will perform on both nights, along with various other artists.
Recently, Clapton also released a collection called The Definitive 24 Nights. This compilation expands on his record-breaking series of 24 concerts at London’s esteemed Royal Albert Hall in 1990-91. The collection features almost six hours of live music and includes 36 previously unreleased performances.
Clapton’s team, which also includes producer Peter Worsley, director David Barnard, and engineer Simon Climie, methodically restored and enhanced the recordings. Limited edition boxed sets of The Definitive 24 Nights are offered in 6-CD or 8-LP formats. Both editions include three Blu-ray discs of audiovisual material, a hardcover book, and a lithograph with a Carl Studna portrait of Clapton that is uniquely numbered.
From his early days with legendary bands like Cream and Derek and the Dominos to his acclaimed solo career, Clapton’s music has left an indelible mark on the hearts of his fans. Therefore, with each new release and upcoming performance, fans are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to immerse themselves in the timeless music and legendary talent of Eric Clapton.
