Surprising The Audience By Rockin’ Out To This Jimi Hendrix Classic

Emil and Dariel Liakhovetski are sibling sensations who play the cello. They auditioned during America’s Got Talent and wowed the judges with their rendition of Jimi Hendrix’s “Purple Haze.” Their animated and electrifying cover earned them several fans. The boys began playing classical cello since they were in preschool. The performance made Howard Stern jump from his seat.

Stern, one of the show’s four celebrity judges, told the brothers, “I loved the element of surprise, and you guys just shocked us. You just went to being the coolest guys on the block.”

It has gone viral since it was uploaded on YouTube. It was an instant fame for them which is not surprising since they are oozing with talent. They also earned several praises and one even commented:

“It’s stuff like this that keeps Jimi up, even in the great beyond.”

Jimi would’ve loved to see how much his music has inspired and influenced others. Just take these boys, for example. They may be from a different generation but they sure know how to put their hearts into the song which is exactly what Jimi does the moment he steps on the stage. It’s absolutely mesmerizing!
