Star-Studded Tribute Album
Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company features ten tracks with a wide mix of performers. Highlights include Hardy on “Ready For Love,” Halestorm covering “Shooting Star,” Slash with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators on “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” and The Struts with their version of “Rock ’N’ Roll Fantasy.” Other contributions come from Charley Crockett, Blackberry Smoke with Paul Rodgers, Black Stone Cherry, Def Leppard with Paul Rodgers, and The Pretty Reckless.
Dirty Honey’s “Rock Steady” stands alongside these covers as a faithful yet energetic tribute. Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke also appear on several songs, joining forces with the new generation of rock musicians.
Marc LaBelle Shares His Connection
For LaBelle, Bad Company’s influence is personal. “Bad Company are plain and simply one of the cornerstones of rock n roll,” he explained. “Their music has been a part of the soundtrack of my life for as long as I can remember. ‘Can’t Get Enough’ was a song I’d regularly perform in college at karaoke bars, and the song would later make its way into our set list when I’d play bars in Los Angeles. Paul Rodgers’ voice is timeless, classic, and like a fine wine, only got better with age.”
LaBelle’s words reflect the respect Dirty Honey hold for the legendary band as they add their own energy to “Rock Steady.” Fans can watch the newly released video now, offering a preview of the tribute album that honors five decades of Bad Company’s music.
