Recent Triumphs and Future Endeavors
In May 2022, Def Leppard released their twelfth studio album, Diamond Star Halos, which received critical acclaim and commercial success. The album debuted at No. 1 on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Billboard’s Hard Rock charts, and achieved a Top 10 position on the Billboard 200 chart—marking the band’s eighth Top 10 album. Internationally, the album also secured several Top 10 chart placements, including a Top 5 debut in the U.K.
Building on that momentum, the band released Drastic Symphonies in 2023, an album recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This project reached No. 4 on the U.K. charts—Def Leppard’s highest U.K. charting album in over 30 years—and spent an impressive 15 weeks atop the Billboard Current Classical chart.
By the end of 2025, the band will have sold over 4.5 million tickets worldwide since their sold-out 2022 stadium tour with Mötley Crüe, a remarkable accomplishment in today’s touring landscape. Currently, Def Leppard is touring with a mix of headline shows and festival appearances, delivering their signature electrifying performances. Next year, the band will return to Las Vegas for their third residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
Recently, Def Leppard teamed up with legendary guitarist Tom Morello on the single “Just Like ’73,” which climbed to No. 1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock chart, further underscoring their continued relevance in the rock world.
