He Blamed It On Disney World
In an exclusive interview with Ultimate Classic Rock, former Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider has revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus even though he’s fully vaccinated. He’s been busy promoting his solo album, Leave A Scar, out on July 30.
“I’ve been having problems with my home studio and got COVID in spite of the fact that I’m fully vaccinated,” the rock legend said. “It happened a few days ago. This is about day five.”
“It was really minor, like, nothing that Advil and Sudafed [couldn’t handle],” he explained. “I don’t want to bring my studio guy into fix my technology. I told him to stay out of here. Even though I feel fine, I don’t want to take a chance. Hopefully, I’ll be super-immune. Like I said, I’m fully vaccinated, plus [I got] COVID.”
Snider experienced mild symptoms such as “little aches and pains, a little stuffiness”. He took medication, but he continued to work. That’s when he decided to “get tested just for the hell of it.” He took a home test, and found out he was positive for Covid-19. He also speculated that he contracted Covid-19 after his wife and grandkids went to Disney World.
“No one checks vaccination, no one checks tests,” he noted. “No one’s enforcing masks. It’s packed and they’re all in lines waiting for an hour. They came back and brought it back with them.”
