Live at an Iconic Venue

David Gilmour has released the trailer for his upcoming concert film Live At The Circus Maximus, Rome. The performance was filmed last September at the historic Roman monument during the start of his Luck And Strange tour. The film will be shown in cinemas and IMAX starting this September for a limited time. Fans can get tickets through Gilmour’s official website.

The trailer reveals that the film includes both new songs from Luck And Strange and well-known Pink Floyd tracks. Songs like Time, Comfortably Numb, and Wish You Were Here are part of the setlist. The visual production and setting make it a unique concert experience.

Album Follows the Film

A month after the film’s release, Gilmour will drop a live album titled The Luck And Strange Concerts. The album features 23 tracks, spread across two CDs and four vinyl records. Performances were recorded at select stops from the tour in five cities: Brighton, London, Los Angeles, New York, and Rome.

The album includes songs from Gilmour’s solo work and several Pink Floyd favorites. One highlight is a duet between Gilmour and his daughter Romany on the song Between Two Points. The album is set to be released by Sony Music on October 17. Fans can also pre-order it now through his website.

With both the film and the live album, Gilmour offers fans a chance to experience the tour again — or for the first time — in both visual and audio formats.
