Chris Stapleton Emotionally Remembers Glen Campbell With This Beautiful Cover of ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’

A true legend
Last week, the world unfortunately lost Glen Campbell, a southern rock legend who passed away at the age of 81. Glen’s music teetered on the line of rock n’ roll and country, and throughout his career, he was greatly overlooked and underrated as a guitarist.
Throughout the week, many country and rock artists alike have been pouring in their tributes to the late legend. Artists like John Mayer, Brad Paisley and Toby Keith have shown the Glen some love during their concerts. One of the better tributes we’ve seen, is Chris Stapleton’s. Chris is one of the truest country artists out there, and he is widely respected in the rock world as well! Chris recently performed in Hershey, PA, and performed a beautiful tribute cover of Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy.” The cover is emotional, riveting and soothing and you can truly feel all of it through Chris’ voice and guitar playing! Much respect to Chris for this gem of a performance!
