Bruce Springsteen Joins Bon Jovi for Soulful Collaboration on Revamped “Hollow Man”

Bon Jovi has surprised fans with a compelling new version of their track Hollow Man, this time featuring none other than Bruce Springsteen. The atmospheric and slow-burning rendition is part of the upcoming Forever (Legendary Edition), a revamped version of their 2024 album, set for release on October 24.

A Star-Studded Collaborative Effort

The Legendary Edition of Forever is more than a simple reissue. Alongside Springsteen, the album boasts contributions from a diverse roster of celebrated artists, including Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin Leon, Marcus King, Ryan Tedder, and more. This collaborative spirit injects fresh energy and perspectives into the project, making it a standout release in Bon Jovi’s extensive discography.

An Album Born from Challenge and Friendship

The making of this album is deeply personal for lead singer Jon Bon Jovi. In a candid statement, he revealed that the project emerged from the challenges of vocal cord surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation period. “My vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab were well documented during the release of Forever in June 2024,” Jon explained. “I could sing well enough in the studio, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach.”

Faced with the inability to tour or promote the album, Jon turned to friends in the music community for support. “These are great singers and artists, but more importantly, wonderful people. This album represents a new viewpoint and spirit — a reminder that we all get by with a little help from our friends.”

He added, “I feel tremendous joy and gratitude in releasing this album, and I think that emotion is evident in the music. There is always something bigger than me, and that’s the collective ‘we.’”

New Single ‘Red, White and Jersey’ Drops Alongside the Album

In addition to the reimagined “Hollow Man,” Bon Jovi also released “Red, White and Jersey,” a spirited new single that serves as the opening track for the Forever (Legendary Edition). Both tracks are available now, offering fans a fresh glimpse of the band’s evolving sound.
