Joining An All-Star Lineup
Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi are part of the stellar lineup for JERSEY 4 JERSEY – a benefit show for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund. The organization helps with the medical, social and economic impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. It will take place on April 22 at 7 p.m. ET and broadcasted on Apple Music, Apple TV and SiriusXM’s E Street Radio. Several radio and television stations will also air the concert.
The fundraising event features other talents like Halsey, Tony Bennett, Kelly Ripa, SZA, Charlie Puth, Whoopi Goldberg, Danny DeVito, and Jon Stewart, to name a few.
In a statement, New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy said: “New Jersey is on the front lines of this pandemic, making it more important than ever for us to do what Jersey does best – take care of one another. hat’s why we’re asking everyone in our state to join the NJPRF and some of New Jersey’s finest for some much-needed musical entertainment, levity and Jersey Pride during these unprecedented times.”
Aside from raising funds, the one-night show will honor the frontliners – this includes first responders, healthcare workers, and essential employees. Jon Bon Jovi told USA Today, “These are our people, and in these times of need, we all come together.”
