Bohemian Rhapsody has been controversial since day 1. It was years in the making and even finishing the movie was tough because director Bryan Singer was terminated and Dexter Fletcher had to be brought in to finish it just two weeks before production wrapped up.
That’s basically just one reason not everyone went crazy about this biopic. And during the 91st Academy Awards, Bohemian Rhapsody didn’t just get nominated, they bagged multiple awards! And some people are seriously furious, to say the least.
The film won Best Sound Editing, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Actor in a Leading Role for Rami Malek. It’s the movie that won the most awards but there were those who took to social media to vent out their frustration and anger.

Though most audiences loved the movie, critics were far from kind with their reviews. Bohemian Rhapsody had a lot of controversies, sure. But at the end of the day, we still think Freddie Mercury would have loved it. And all the awards they won especially Best Actor was clearly well-deserved.
