The Black Crowes has announced an extension of their reunion tour with new shows scheduled for this year’s summer.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the band’s 1990 debut LP, Shake Your Money Maker, the U.S. leg will kick off on June 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and closes on August 27 in Miami, Okla.

Presale tickets begin February 23 with a general sale for most dates starting February 25 at 10AM local time. Each ticket purchased via Ticketmaster in North America will include a free, exclusive NFT tour poster which is also the company’s first artist NFT partnership. For more information about the upcoming tour, visit the band’s official site.

The Black Crowes’ Chris and Rich Robinson announced the anniversary tour in late 2019, scheduling only a few acoustic shows in early 2020 before the COVID-19 pandemic caused the downtime for live music. Eventually, the band launched in July 2021, playing shows through February 2022.

Chris Robinson told UCR around the tour’s announcement:

“Our focus is a real high energy, guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll show.

“There’s not a lot of that in the world. We don’t have in-ear monitors and digital fucking amps. And amps in boxes on trucks behind the stage. You know what I mean? We’re pushing some air up there. I think that’s the excitement of rock ‘n’ roll.”

Before the newly announced summer dates, the band is set to play in May festivals: Stagecoach, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage and the Napa Valley Expo.
