After His 82nd Birthday, Paul McCartney Extends His World Tour

Nothing is stopping 82-year-old Beatle Paul McCartney as he continues his global tour schedule after celebrating his birthday in June.

McCartney has announced two new stadium shows on October 15 and 16 at Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil, along with an October 19 performance at Estadio da Ressacada in Florianopolis. These additional scheduled performances complement his 2024 tour, spanning South America, Mexico, the U.K., and Europe. Fans worldwide can catch his itinerary which includes stops in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, and Mexico throughout October and November. These are followed by tour dates across Europe and the U.K. in December. The Got Back tour originally kicked off in April 2022 in Spokane, Washington, marking McCartney’s triumphant return to the stage.

Tickets for the Sao Paulo tour shows on October 15 are already on sale, while pre-sale for the second show on October 16 begins on July 2. Meanwhile, anticipation builds as McCartney fans worldwide gear up for these monumental performances.

In parallel, McCartney’s fellow Beatles alum, Ringo Starr, also continues to tour vigorously in his 80s. Recently concluding a series of shows with his All-Starr Band, including a notable Las Vegas residency, Starr, who turns 84 on July 7, will resume performances in September, culminating at New York City’s prestigious Radio City Music Hall.
