Watch Aerosmith Join Yungblud for Ozzy Osbourne Tribute at the VMAs

via QBR NEWS / YouTube
At this year’s VMAs, a powerful seven-minute tribute honored Ozzy Osbourne. The performance brought together Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Yungblud, and guitarist Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme. Together, they delivered a set featuring “Crazy Train,” “Changes,” and “Mama, I’m Coming Home.”
“Crazy Train” was Osbourne’s debut solo single, released on Blizzard of Ozz in 1980. “Changes,” a classic Black Sabbath ballad, first appeared on their 1972 record Vol. 4. The heartfelt “Mama, I’m Coming Home” was part of Osbourne’s 1991 album No More Tears.

Aerosmith’s Legacy
As Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, Aerosmith’s impact stretches far beyond this tribute. The band has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, streamed over 15 billion times, and attracted more than 20 million followers on social media. They are one of only four American rock groups with more than 90 million RIAA-certified album sales and one of two with 25 gold and platinum albums.
Their catalog includes 30 albums on the Billboard Top 200 and 28 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Aerosmith created defining music videos such as “Janie’s Got a Gun,” “Love in an Elevator,” and “Crazy.” Their hits include “Dream On,” “Angel,” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” The band also holds several firsts: the first rock group to collaborate with a hip-hop act through Run-DMC’s “Walk This Way,” the first hard rock band at a Super Bowl halftime show, and the first to inspire a Disney World attraction with Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster.
Yungblud’s Rising Influence
Yungblud has quickly become one of the leading voices of his generation, blending punk and rock with modern energy.
