Studio Teaser and Collaboration

Rock legends Aerosmith are preparing to share their first new music in more than ten years, teaming up with rising artist Yungblud for a song called My Only Angel. A teaser video shows Steven Tyler and Yungblud singing the song’s powerful finale together in the studio. After the take, Yungblud plants a kiss on Tyler’s cheek as the two trade excited remarks.

“Nice! Good! Fuckin’ A!” Tyler exclaims.
“Fucking great, man!” Yungblud responds.
“Shit! Hallelujah!” Tyler adds with a grin.

This release will be Aerosmith’s first since their 2012 album Music from Another Dimension! Tyler’s most recent recording was his 2023 collaboration with Dolly Parton on her album Rockstar, where they performed “I Want You Back.”

Recent Performances and Future Hints

In 2024, Aerosmith announced they would retire from touring after Tyler suffered a vocal cord injury. Despite that setback, he has returned to the stage several times, including a performance with the Black Crowes in London last year.

Guitarist Joe Perry recently spoke on Trunk Nation about the band’s future, hinting that a farewell concert could still happen. “We’re talking about it. I know there’s gotta be at least another Aerosmith gig, and I’m not looking forward to putting the set list together for that one,” Perry said. Asked if Tyler could handle a full show, he replied, “You know, I think he would. I think it’s just a matter of getting there.”

Yungblud’s Busy Year and Song Details

Yungblud has been keeping a full schedule of his own. He joined Tyler on stage during Black Sabbath’s Back To The Beginning show in July and appeared at last week’s MTV Video Music Awards, where he performed alongside both Tyler and Perry.

The upcoming track My Only Angel is already available for pre-save, signaling a major moment for both artists. Fans of Aerosmith and Yungblud are watching closely as this collaboration promises to mark an important new chapter for the band after more than a decade without fresh music.
