Aerosmith has reached a major milestone more than five decades into their career. Their new collaborative album One More Time, created with pop-rock artist Yungblud, has officially become their first-ever U.K. No. 1 album. The Official Charts Company confirmed the news, marking a surprising and important moment for both artists.
A Long Road to a New Milestone
Veteran rock band Aerosmith formed over 50 years ago, with their self-titled debut arriving in the early 1970s. Yet One More Time marks their first time reaching the top spot on the U.K. albums chart. Their last major chart moment in the U.K. came 38 years ago when Permanent Vacation first entered the rankings.
The project pairs Aerosmith with Yungblud, who has quickly become one of the most visible young rock artists. Speaking about the achievement, Yungblud said: “No words can express how grateful I am for this … my second official number one of 2025. Massive love to everyone who supported this record in the name of rock and roll.”

Yungblud Shares His Gratitude
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, described the collaboration as deeply meaningful. “Aerosmith has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Thank you to Joe and Steven for riding with me – I can’t believe we made a record together,” he said.
He added that the success felt like “the cherry on top of a f****** crazy, emotional rollercoaster of a year. Bring on 2026. Love.” One More Time marks his second No. 1 album of 2025 and his fourth U.K. chart-topping album overall, following the success of his earlier release Idols.
Strong Sales Across Vinyl and Indie Stores
One More Time didn’t just top the main albums chart. It also reached No. 1 on the U.K. vinyl albums chart for most physical records sold. In addition, it led the U.K. record store chart, showing strong support from independent shops across the country.
This comes shortly after Yungblud made history as the first British artist to earn three Grammy nominations in the rock categories in a single year, adding another achievement to an already eventful period.
Other Albums and Singles Making Headlines
Following the death of Stone Roses bassist Gary “Mani” Mounfield, both the band’s self-titled debut and their compilation The Very Best Of The Stone Roses climbed back into the top 40. The rest of the albums top five featured Olivia Dean’s The Art Of Loving at two, Taylor Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl at three, Tate McRae’s So Close To What at four, and Olly Murs’ Knees Up at five.
On the singles chart, rapper EsDeeKid earned his first top-10 hit with Century, amid ongoing online rumors linking him to actor Timothée Chalamet. Taylor Swift continued her chart success with The Fate Of Ophelia, spending a sixth non-consecutive week at No. 1. Other top songs included Raye’s Where Is My Husband! at two, Olivia Dean’s So Easy (To Fall In Love) and Man I Need at three and four, and her duet with Sam Fender, Rein Me In, at five.
