AC/DC is getting ready to hit the road and rock the stage again! After nearly a decade, the legendary band is bringing their Power Up tour to North America. The 13-date stadium tour kicks off on April 10, starting in Minneapolis and wrapping up on May 28 in Cleveland. AC/DC fans can get their tickets on sale starting this Friday.

A Rock ‘n’ Roll Comeback

AC/DC hasn’t done a full-scale tour in North America since their Rock or Bust days from 2015 to 2016. The band had several challenges during the tour with lead singer Brian Johnson stepping away due to hearing issues. Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose stepped in to help finish the run, but fans, of course, fans were left wondering what was next for the band.

Fast forward a few years, Brian Johnson bounces back, joined by bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd. In 2020, the band released the chart-topping album Power Up. AC/DC proved they’re still at the top of their game. After a successful European tour in 2024, they’re ready to bring the show stateside.

Who’s in the Band This Time?

The 2025 lineup has all the AC/DC firepower you’d expect. Brian Johnson and guitarist Angus Young are leading the charge, as always. Stevie Young, who stepped in for his uncle Malcolm Young after his retirement in 2014, will be on rhythm guitar. Sadly, Malcolm passed away in 2017, but his spirit lives on in their music.

Rounding out the band are drummer Matt Laug and bassist Chris Chaney, both bringing fresh energy to the stage.

For fans waiting to hear “Thunderstruck” or “Back in Black” live, now is their chance. AC/DC is ready to shake stadiums once again.
