Tour Kickoff in Minneapolis
AC/DC has started their first North American tour in nine years. The tour, named ‘PWR UP’, includes 13 shows across the continent in six weeks. The last show will be on May 28 at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland. The tour also introduces the band’s new lineup: singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney, known from Janeโs Addiction and Alanis Morissette.
Their first show was held on Thursday night (April 10) at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The 1980 classic album โBack In Blackโ was highlighted with five songs. The show began with โHighway To Hellโ and โIf You Want Blood (Youโve Got It)โ.

Album Review
NME gave โPower Upโ a four-star review, saying, โBy the time things wrap up on โCode Redโ, which sees the band firing on all cylinders, it becomes clear that their steadfast refusal to adapt or change is no bad thing. While far from a reinvention of the wheel, โPower Upโ is a joyous celebration of the unbridled heavy rock that has served them well for almost 50 years and, we can hope, a unifying cry for the future.โ
