AC/DC Add Second (and Final) Shows to 2025 Australian Tour Across All Cities

Second Shows Confirmed for Power Up Tour
AC/DC have officially added second and final shows to every city on their 2025 Power Up tour across Australia—except Adelaide. The legendary band’s return will mark their first tour in their home country in more than ten years. Adelaide will remain a one-night event since the group is already scheduled to perform during the BP Adelaide Grand Final.
Tickets for the tour first went on sale June 26 and broke records. According to Ticketek, it became the biggest on-sale day in the company’s 45-year history—a record AC/DC themselves originally set in 2009 with their Black Ice stadium tour. Promoter Christo Van Egmond shared just how fast sales were, saying, “Tickets for the Power Up tour moved at an average of 1,200 tickets per second.” He also confirmed that the second Perth show will be the final date added, stating, “We can confirm that absolutely no further shows will be added.”

Support Acts and Current Lineup
Melbourne punk rockers Amyl & The Sniffers will join as the main support act for the tour. Additional local opening acts for each show will be announced soon. The current AC/DC lineup includes longtime lead singer Brian Johnson, guitarist and founding member Angus Young, and rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, Angus’ nephew. Filling in on drums is session player Matt Laug, while Chris Chaney—former Jane’s Addiction bassist—will take the place of retired member Cliff Williams.
Phil Rudd will not be performing on this tour, making this lineup slightly different from previous ones. Despite the changes, fans are still eager to see the band live again after such a long break from Australian stages.
