Tennessee Guitar Legend Bob Wood Strikes Again!

Before he made his big debut in 2014 at British Audio Services with his performance of ‘Besame Mucho,’ Tennessee guitar legend Bob Wood was schooling guitarists at NAMM 2011, the biggest music convention in the world! He was gracious enough to sit down at a vendor’s booth and when given one of their guitars to test out, Bob showed every guitarist in the room how it was done with a simple jazzy lick that he no doubt improvised on the spot.

Fun Fact: Bob isn’t just an amateur musician, but a local celebrity in his home state of Tennessee! His immense talent as a guitarist allowed him to enjoy a successful career in music.

What I love the most about these rare Bob Wood sightings is the fact that he’s so incredibly talented; his playing is precise and always has this really warm, friendly tone to it, and you can even hear shades of the guitarists that influenced him once upon a time ago.
