Young Angus Young?
Angus Young is one of the most recognizable guitarists in rock n’ roll! From the way he dresses, to his signature Gibson SG guitar and his amazing guitar antics on stage, he stands as an icon for any aspiring rock n’ roller!
This 11-year old expressed his admiration and idolization of Angus Young in this incredible guitar cover of AC/DC’s classic hit “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Ashley Freeman dressed up in Angus’ iconic “school boy” outfit, wielded a Gibson SG, and jammed out this amazing cover! He covered a live version of the song, which is even better, because it sounds raw and authentic!
Fun Fact: This was the first AC/DC single featuring new lead singer Brian Johnson. He replaced Bon Scott, who died February 19, 1980 after a drinking binge. Scott’s father made it clear to the band that they should find a new singer and keep going.
It’s super relieving to see kids like Ashley playing this music and keeping the rock n’ roll tradition alive! Check out the amazing cover down below, and revel in this kid’s skill and talent!
