This was too perfect!

It’s always interesting to hear two different music genres come together. People have been reworking songs for years, and it can either make the song better or worse. This case that you are about to watch, is definitely one of the better reworks we’ve ever heard, and might even contest the original for being the better version!

PostmodernJukebox, a YouTube channel, are known for reworking modern songs into classical genre. Their latest concoction is taking Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” and blending it into a classic 1940’s jazz style. The result is flawless! The channel picked up Morgan James, who is best known for her work in Broadway musicals, and she and the band absolutley crushed it!

Fun Fact: Some of Morgan James’ Broadway shows include Motown: The Musical, Godspell, and The Addams Family.

They had a whole 1940’s vibe going throughout the video, and even dressed up to match the era. Morgan’s voice is out of this world! She hits those Steven Tyler high notes like a champ, and you could even say she sounds just as good, if not better, than him at times!
