With These Vocals, Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Cold Shot” Is His Best Performance Yet | Society Of Rock Videos

Now That’s A Cold Shot Baby

Talk about being on fire, our beloved Stevie Ray Vaughan was unstoppable during his Capitol Theatre performance of “Cold Shot” and there was nothin’ cold about it!

“Remember the way that you loved me, Do anything I say? Now I see you out somewhere, you won’t give me the time of day…”

Our blues god paints an unfortunate picture of a couple that has lost their romantic edge and spark and have given up trying- given up on their own love- which results on her walking out and moving on.

Interesting Fact: In 1991 Texas governor Ann Richards declared Vaughan’s birthday, Oct. 3, “Stevie Ray Vaughan Day.” Each year a memorial motorcycle rally and blues concert is held to raise funds for the Stevie Ray Vaughan Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This may be a typical blues theme, but there is nothing typical about Stevie’s pristine vocals in this set.

With quality as clear as it can be and a perfect picture, we promise you will be replaying and rewatching this awesome SRV performance for the rest of the day.. we will be.
