Welcome to the Jungle…kind of

Anyone who is a major fan of Guns N’ Roses knows that Slash is an animal activist. He’s vegetarian, and has always been a leader in the fight for animal rights. Because he loves animals so much, Slash will be performing at the Los Angeles Zoo’s annual charity event, The Beastly Ball.

“I’m honored and proud to be a part of the L.A. Zoo’s 50th-anniversary Beastly Ball. It’s going to be the biggest yet, and I’m really looking forward to jamming live with some good friends.” – Slash

Joining Slash will be Jack Black, Grace Potter and Bernard Fowler. The event is set to take place on May 20th at the LA Zoo, but if you can’t make it, there’s an opportunity that you can be there…virtually! The performance will be available to broadcast on virtual reality, giving everyone a chance to check out the show! In addition to viewing the show, you’ll also be able to see Slash’s rehearsal and an exclusive interview with him!

It’s pretty crazy how technology is allowing us to see concerts virtually. Who knows, maybe this is the future? Maybe in the future if you’re unable to buy a ticket to be there, you can buy a virtual ticket, and see the show in virtual reality!

Either way we hope the show runs smoothly! If you’re interested in seeing it in virtual reality, you can via the Occulus and Google Play app store.
