Bringing  Back Memories

Before the Beatles were known as acid- prone, worldly and highly influenced musicians, they were innocent, young boys settling into the crazy fame that was referred to as “Beatle Mania.”

In this touching video, George watches his friends and his young self play “This Boy” and remembers when John wouldn’t wear his glasses during performances, revealing the intimate detail that John was, in fact, as “blind as a bat.” We can assure you that no quote has ever made us smile more.

The vocals were a three part harmony sung by Harrison, Lennon and McCartney.

Seeing him laugh and sing along, more than warms our heart to see a once happy and alive George Harrison, surrounded by friends, watching great past times.

Interesting Fact: Harrison started playing guitar at age 13, but only with the help of Paul McCartney did he get good enough to play in a band.

Unfortunately for us all, George passed away in 2011 surrounded by friends and family at Paul McCartney’s home. He was such a wonderful artist and person and we will never stop loving him…

+ This Boy Lyrics +

That boy
Took my love away
He’ll regret it someday
But this boy wants you back again

That boy
Isn’t good for you
Though he may want you too
This boy wants you back again

Oh, and this boy would be happy just to love you
But oh my-I-I and
That boy won’t be happy
‘Til he’s seen you cry

This boy
Wouldn’t mind the pain
Would always feel the same
If this boy gets you back again

This boy
This boy
This boy
