In my humble opinion, if a guitar sounds good then it’s a good guitar, period. While pricing has more or less been a consistent measuring stick for the quality of an instrument, I believe that even if a guitar costs $25 but still sounds great and feels great, it could go on any great album.

Take for example the most recent video on the popular YouTube channel Music is Win. Host Tyler went to a local guitar show and came across an acoustic guitar made by Martin that costs $125,000.

He was even allowed to play the guitar. He took it into a room, tuned it up, and proceeded to play. Needless to say, the result of this play-through was actually quite surprising.
