It’s sad, but there will never be another guitarist quite like Stevie Ray Vaughan. The man could do it all! He had a fantastic voice, great stage presence and his guitar playing was one of a kind. He took the blues genre to a whole new level, and practically reinvented it!
He could basically take any song, and turn it into something special. Even something like the old nursery rhyme “Mary Had A Little Lamb.” Stevie completely reinvented this song, and turned it into a full on blues rock jam, complete with a mind-blowing organ solo, funky breakdown section and, of course, a patent SRV solo that will blow your mind! It’s incredibly sad that Stevie was taken from us so soon, because we could definitely use more music and talent like this in today’s world!
