Steven Tyler Sells Off Classic Car For Charity
Steven Tyler’s got a big heart and earns big bucks from his big toys.
We’re talking about houses, guitars, motorbikes, and of course…cars. Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler owns quite a few sweet rides of his own including a rare 2012 Custom Hennessey Venom GT Spyder Convertible worth $1.1 million. Only 5 units were made in 2013, according to “Top Gear”. This year, we find that Tyler’s heart is as big as his, er, mouth as he bids his one-of-a-kind car into auction at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona and will donate all proceeds to charity. The funds will go to the benefit of Tyler’s own foundation, Janie’s Fund which partners with Youth Villages to provide active st support for ongoing awareness and advocacy for girls who have suffered the trauma of abuse and neglect. Among the other artists putting up their classic cars for sale are Kurt Russel, Eddie Van Halen, and Sammy Hagar.
