Steven Tyler Clears Up The Rumors Surrounding His Health
Just a few days ago, the news broke that Aerosmith were putting their tour on hold due to “unexpected medical issues” that Steven Tyler had to seek immediate care for.
It was reported by several sources that Steven Tyler had suffered a seizure and some even reported that he possibly had a heart attack. However, Steven Tyler has now broken his silence and provided insight to what REALLY happened.
He wrote in a tweet: IT BREAKS MY HEART TO HAVE LEFT THIS TOUR EARLY…THE BAND HAS NEVER PLAYED BETTER…JUST WATCH THE 100,000 PEOPLE AT RIO…I GIVE YOU ALL AN A+ FOR CREATIVE SPECULATIONS BUT I CERTAINLY DID NOT HAVE A HEART ATTACK OR A SEIZURE ((UNLESS JOW PERRY IS TAKIN’ A RIPPIN’ LEAD))…SORRY TO HAVE TO CUT THE TOUR SHORT BUT I HAVE TO DO A PROCEDURE THAT ONLY MY DOC IN THE STATES COULD PERFORM…WE’VE BEEN TO TEL AVIV… TO RUSSIA… TO RIO… AND ALL THE IN BETWEEN…I GUESS IT’S TRUE WHAT THEY SAY…”THAT LIFE’S A PISSER WHEN EU’RE A PEEIN’…””
As of right now, it is unclear when Aerosmith will resume their tour, but given that both the band and Steven Tyler have remained vocal during this unsure period, we can only guess that we’ll know when they do!
