Steve Perry’s Incredible Vocals On “We Are The World” Will Give You Chills—Rare Footage!

If you made a list of the best vocalists in rock history, Steve Perry would easily crack the top 10. Heck, he would probably even crack the top 5, and maybe even top 3. No one is a stranger to know that his voice is incredible, and we’re thrilled whenever we discover some rare footage of him singing. Today, we just so happened to find some rare footage of Steve recording his vocal portion of Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie’s track “We Are The World.” The track featured some of the best vocalists in music, and was designed to raise money for the people of Africa.
In the video, you can see a number of artists like Bruce Springsteen, Cindy Lauper, and many more, including Jackson and Richie. They record their parts, and Steve absolutley slays his brief portion of the song. He may sing only a few words, but boy he makes everyone count and sound beautiful with his amazing voice!
We love seeing clips like this. Multiple legends coming together to raise money for a great cause! We wish the world was more like this now-a-days!
