The Master At Work

“Song of the Wind” is included in the fourth studio album of Carlos Santana entitled, “Caravanserai” which was released on October 1972. In this particular jam, Santana collaborates with another talented guitarist, Neal Schon.
If anyone doubts why Santana is among the top guitarists of all time, they only need to listen to this track – it showcases all the reasons why he’s a guitar god.

“Song Of The Wind” is “one of the finest Santana recordings. This guitar duet between Santana and Schon created a style of guitar playing and music that was unknown before, except perhaps in the work of Gabor Szabo, whose approach it recalls in spirit.” – Simon Leng biography Soul Sacrifice

Although he has plenty of amazing songs in his catalog, this one is certainly up there in the top five. It’s like we’re getting a taste of musical heaven and we absolutely love it.
