Hello darkness my old friend….

One of the most eerie songs in the history of music is Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence.” Whenever you hear it, you can’t help but get chills down your spine. The entire song is very dark, but can also be incredibly comforting when you’re feeling low.

As if this song couldn’t get any more melancholic, YouTuber Jamie Dupuis gave the song an extra layer of somberness by covering the classic tune on an 18 string harp guitar. Jamie takes the song to another level, and this video will give you all the feels.

Any fan of this song will love this rendition, and honestly, its completely mesmerizing! I found myself almost hypnotized at the sound of this rendition, and I loved every second of it!

Fun Fact: Paul Simon took six months to write the lyrics, which are about man’s lack of communication with his fellow man. He averaged one line a day.

Check out the amazing rendition down below, and let us know what you think!
