Two Guitar Gods

Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin perform an amazing duo of “A Love Supreme” and it sounds so good. This was during a performance at the Auditorium Stravinski, Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland and we can’t help but be jealous of that lucky crowd who witnessed such musical greatness.

“The Life Devine” also borrows from “A Love Supreme” for its theme and gives Santana free reign as he alternates sprays of rippling, serrated notes with long single tones that he bends and holds into feedback, including one that clocks in at more than 30 seconds. – Gibson

You can feel the energy being put out by 2 of the most talented guitarists in the world. It is a fusion of latin and jazz and you just know it’s Santana playing by his signature sound and riffs. Also, John tears it up! It’s amazing how much musicianship is going on and the chemistry between these 2 pros. So if you want to hear an awesome jam, make sure you turn it up and enjoy.
