Santana – “Into The Night” Live

“Into the Night” was released as the first single for Santana’s compilation album “Ultimate Santana” which was released on October 2, 2007. The song features Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger who also wrote the track. It was a great collaboration and even the music video became a hit!
The video seems to integrate both the Hispanic and North American cultures, as a symbol of the two cultures coming together in the song itself.

However, during Santana’s concert in Montreux in 2011, the backing vocals for the song were Tony Lindsay and Andy Vargas. It was a rousing rendition and the audience loved the upbeat tempo! As always, it was a heart-stopping moment when he played his guitar solo. That’s basically what I feel whenever he takes the stage! He can wow everyone even with just a few riffs! Man, it’s incredible!
