It has been just days after the horrific Las Vegas massacre took place that took 59 lives and left approximately 527 people injured. Just hours after that happened, the news also broke that legendary singer/songwriter Tom Petty passed away at the age of 66.

These side by side tragedies all came in the span of hours and it truly goes without saying that we will be feeling the affects of both for many years to come.

Since both of these events took place, many rock legends such as Paul McCartney, Meat Loaf, Mick Jagger, and many others have paid tribute to both Tom Petty and the victims of the Las Vegas Massacre.

One such rock legend was Sammy Hagar who posted a video on Twitter asking fans for one small favor in wake of both Tom Petty’s death and the Las Vegas Massacre.
