“Black Dog” like never before.

Former Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant performs a cosmic rendition of the Zeppelin hit “Black Dog” on the long running music program, “Austin City Limits” aired on PBS. Plant and his band, the Sensational Space Shifters was featured in an hour long episode of the TV concert series. They delivered a somewhat bluesy take on “Black Dog” and it’s nothing short of incredible. “Black Dog” was part of their eight-song set list that included both classic Zeppelin songs and new songs from Plant’s new record with the Sensational Space Shifters. Plant sat down for an interview with Austin City Limits and talked about how the city of Austin ,where he currently resides, has inspired his song writing saying,

“…I’ve been playing around Austin on and off over the years, and when I started working with Patty Griffin, I found far more depth to this area around Austin. I really enjoyed my time here.”
