A Must-Have Skill

This is one guitar lesson we wished we had when we were younger. Lol. But still, it’s never too late to start learning. Besides, we like how this is easy to understand and follow. Sure, you won’t transform into a Jimmy Page or Eddie Van Halen overnight but it’s always good to have something to play when the occasion calls for it – like when you find the need to show off in front of your friends or family.

Some of the greatest solos were improvised or played spontaneously. Check out how Slash came up with his “Sweet Child o’ Mine” guitar riff.

“When ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ was written, it was a joke as far as I was concerned. I was just fuckin’ around when I came up with that riff. To me it was a nightmare because, for some strange reason, everyone picked up on it and, the next thing you knew, it had turned into a song.” – Slash

Well, are you ready?
