In the case of rock legend Peter Frampton, a chance encounter with an injured bird in dire need of a little kindness proved to be the catalyst for Frampton’s newest song “I Saved A Bird Today,” released just this morning and available on iTunes and Amazon. As the story goes, Peter was at home when the bird smashed into his window, knocking itself out; Peter’s efforts to save his new friend – successful, might we add – got the wheels turning, inspiring him to pick up his guitar and pen “I Saved A Bird Today” in honor of the exhilarating feeling that comes with having been able to save a life.
