Their fresh spin on the classic song will make anyone go “Hallelujah” indeed.

Famous a cappella group Pentatonix does a powerful cover of Leonard Cohen’s classic “Hallelujah” and drops an equally beautiful music video along with it. The Grammy-award winning vocal quintet released this cover as one of the 11 tracks of their third Christmas album “A Pentatonix Christmas” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and iTunes charts. Their first two Christmas albums have been certified platinum.

The group’s chilling rendition features the strength of each of the member’s amazing vocal range as well as the beautiful harmony they create together. It’s hard to believe they really don’t use any musical instruments other than their voices! Along with the stunning sunset background in a desert landscape, Pentatonix delivers such a hauntingly wonderful performance that will definitely give you goosebumps, and shed a tear or two.

Fun Fact: “Hallelujah” has been covered by over 300 artists and also in various languages.

Pentatonix recently won their third Grammy award for Best Duo or Group Performance of “Jolene” with Dolly Parton.
