Here’s What We Know…

Ozzy Osbourne’s long awaited ‘No More Tours 2’ tour (that’s a mouth full) has finally kicked off and has been all the rage in the world of hard rock and heavy metal. What’s even more is that luckily for us, a few fans managed to capture a great deal of footage from the first show which took place this past April 27th in Jacksonville, Florida. However, as we’ve gotten to see this footage, we couldn’t help but notice something. Ozzy Osbourne sounds a bit off in his performing. See below…

So what kinds of questions is his first show raising? Well, the main question is, is this the reason that Ozzy made this his LAST tour? Let’s go in depth about this.

Ozzy is 69-years-old and as he ages, his voice may grow weaker making it harder for him to sing. The same goes for being a front man, which most people don’t realize, is not always the same thing as being a singer. For years, Ozzy Osbourne has had the responsibility of keeping an entire crowd of tens of thousands engaged and every night for 2 hours straight. Coming from someone who has never done that, I can tell you that that’ll take a SERIOUS toll on you and you can’t do it forever unless you’re Mick Jagger or something.

With all of this being said, it begs the question, is Ozzy Osbourne doing the right thing by going out with a bang with one final tour? Me personally, I give it a resounding yes. I am as big an Ozzy fan as you or anyone else, but even I have to admit when it’s time for my heroes to stop. Ozzy Osbourne definitely made the right decision by going out in style rather than quite frankly running his performing abilities into the ground.
