Neil Diamond – “Something Blue” Live | Society Of Rock Videos

Never Blue With This Single!

Neil Diamond played “Something Blue” as part of his 10-set song during his performance in his hometown which was held at the Erasmus Hall High School. He used to sing there as part of the choir. He performed with a six-piece band as his backup and serenaded the crowd with the beautiful and enchanting love song.

“I wish I could say it was my dream to come back to high school, but it was my dream to get out of high school,” Diamond, 73, cracks in a promotional video released after the show. “But a long enough time has passed that now I feel good about coming back to my old haunts.”

“Something Blue” is from his 32nd studio album, “Melody Road” which was released on October 21, 2014. This is in addition to selling more than 75 million albums throughout his entire career. This particular track still contains that classic vibe which is characteristic of any Neil Diamond song. It has that feel-good tune which can put anyone in a sunny and happy mood.

He sure doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Until today, he’s one amazing performer!
