Mick Had Better Hide!

I think almost everyone in the world can agree that soccer fans are the most passionate fans of all time, right? I mean, after all, it’s an international sport where an entire country can rally behind one team. So with those passionate fans comes a TON of pressure for their teams to win, making the World Cup one of the most exciting events of all time.

Unfortunately for England, they will not be competing in the World Cup this year as they have just lost to Croatia 2-1. However, soccer fans are not blaming the team for the loss, they are blaming one of our favorite rock legends, and it’s honestly pretty silly.

Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones was present at the game yesterday and was filmed saying “C’mon England!”.

Seems harmless right? Well, now fans are attributing that to why England lost. But why is that? Well, because apparently Mick is known infamously predicting the wrong team to win at soccer games…

Back in 2014, he also tweeted for good luck to England just before they lost 7-1 to Brazil.

Twitter is also having an absolute meltdown…

So let me ask you, do you think it’s Mick’s fault that England lost, or are fans just overreacting? I guess we just have 4 more years to see if Mick predicts the wrong team to win again…
